There is a parking lot on 55th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues. There is another parking lot on 56th Street. The cost for parking is $7.50. If you park on 56th Street, you can enter the hospital through the door halfway down the block on 56th Street.
Take Gowanus (Brooklyn-Queens) Expressway toward Verrazano Bridge/Staten Island. Exit at 39th Street. Left off the exit ramp onto 2nd Avenue to 53rd Street. Right on 53rd Street to 1st Avenue. Left on 1st Avenue to 55th Street. EITHER left on 55th Street for drop off at main entrance, or left on 56th Street for all other parking.
Continue on Adams Street to Atlantic Avenue. Left on Atlantic to 4th Avenue. Right on 4th Avenue to 53rd Street. Right on 53rd Street to 1st Avenue. Left on 1st Avenue to 55th Street. EITHER left on 55th Street for drop off at main entrance, or left on 56th Street for all other parking.
Continue on Flatbush Avenue to 4th Avenue. Right on 4th Avenue to 53rd Street. Right on 53rd Street to 1st Avenue. Left on 1st Avenue to 55th Street. EITHER left on 55th Street for drop off at main entrance or left on 56th Street for all other parking.
Grand Central Parkway West to the Brooklyn-Queens (Gowanus) Expressway West toward Verrazano Bridge. Exit at 39th Street in Brooklyn (exit right approximately 2 miles past the Atlantic Avenue exit). After exiting on 39th Street ramp, turn left onto 2nd Avenue. 2nd Avenue to 53rd Street. Right on 53rd Street. Left on 1st Avenue. Left on 55th Street.
Belt Parkway: To 67th Street exit (Exit 1). Take 2nd right hand exit road to traffic light (Ridge Blvd./2nd Avenue). Left onto 2nd Avenue to 57th Street. Left on 57th Street to 1st Avenue. Right onto 1st Avenue. Right onto 56th Street for parking. Valet parking is also available on 56th Street.
Verrazano Narrows Bridge (upper and lower levels):
Crossing the bridge (stayout of left lane). Continue straight and merge onto I-178 E (Brooklyn-Queens Expressway). Proceed 4 exits and exit to 3rd Avenue. Stay straight and make a left onto 53rd Street. Proceed down 53rd Street and turn left onto 1st Avenue. At 56th Street, turn left for parking or left on 55th Street for drop off at the main entrance.

Take the N train to 59th street. When you come up from the subway, you will be on 4th Avenue. Walk on 4th Avenue to 55th Street. Turn left on 55th Street. The main entrance to the hospital is on 55th Street, halfway between 1st and 2nd Avenues.
Take the R train to 53rd Street. When you come up from the subway, you will be on 4th Avenue. Walk on 4th Avenue to 55th Street. Take a right on 55th Street. The main entrance to the hospital is on 55th Street, halfway between 1st and 2nd Avenues. |
