Lutheran Medical Center is commited to providing language and communication assistance to patients with limited English proficiency and those who are deaf or blind. Many of our staff members are bilingual/bicultural and speak other languages such as Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, and Russian amongst others. Foreign language interpreters, sign language interpreters, TTY (text) phones and amplifiers are available free of charge by contacting any staff member. El Centro Médico Luterano está comprometido a brindar ayuda en la comunicación para los pacientes con habilitad limitada del idioma inglés y aquellos que son sordos y ciegos. Muchos miembros de nuestro personal son bilingües y biculturales y hablan, entre otros, idiomas tales como español, chino, árabe y ruso. Tenemos gratis a su disposición intérpretes (traductores) de idiomas, intérpretes de lenguaje de señas, teléfonos TTY (para textos) y amplificadores. Lutheran Medical Center proudly offers a wide variety of Special services for our Jewish patients and their families. Patients can select from Mehadrin and Glatt Kosher meals that are made under strict Rabbinical supervision. We have a Bikur Cholim Yad Yaakov Room that is fully-stocked with kosher snacks and Shabbos provisions. Also, Separate Shabbos accommodations for men and women are offered for overnight stays.
