As a key member of our Radiology Department, reporting to the AVP of Radiology, you will perform routine and video-electroencephalographic procedures, working with physicians to maintain department functionality.
Specific responsibilities include:
•performing routine and video-electroencephalographic procedures, including but not limited to preparing the patient for the procedure, calibrating the EEG apparatus, and documenting exam observations
•maintaining department records, charts, reports, files, supplies, and equipment as directed
•abstracting relevant information from a patient’s clinical record and obtaining additional information by questioning
•collaborating with colleagues and physicians on a daily basis
•performing other related duties as necessary
To qualify, you must possess a High School /GED Diploma and at least 2 years of work experience as an EEG tech. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, follow established safety guidelines, and work independently also essential. Excellent oral/written communication skills, solid analytical abilities, and strong customer services skills are expected.
