Kwan Chun Lee, a 90-year-old participant in LFHC’s Seniors in Touch program, was selected as an exhibiting artist among 25 other artists after competing in the Eighth Annual Haym Salomon Arts Awards Competition
organized by the Federation Employment and Guidance Services (FEGS), to recognize the importance of arts programs within health and human services.
As a participant of the Seniors in Touch program, Ms. Lee engages in full-day arts and recreational programming that keeps her active, healthy and socially connected.
Ms. Lee is a native of the Canton province of China and her artwork entitled, “Round and Round,” was created in 2013 and made of multi-colored scrap paper rolled into spirals. It will be on display at the FEGS’s eighth annual awards ceremony on July 31 in Manhattan.
