Position Title: Media Relations Intern
Job Description: Assist department director in the implementation of strategies to increase visibility of Lutheran Medical Center services.
Activities: Assist with database management, media research, some writing and promotional copy. Assist director in special event planning and implementation.
Qualifications: Ability to handle multiple assignments and work under pressure. Strong attention to detail and follow through important.
Prerequisites: Proficiency in MS Office, background in Excel a plus. Excellent writing and planning skills. Strong academic grades. Experience related to media/public relations (ie. working on a school newspaper, etc.) a plus.
Work Hours: Minimum of 10 hours per week, three-month minimum commitment.
