October 5, 2010, Brooklyn, NY
LMC will host its annual perioperative nursing conference at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square on October 16, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. After three years, the annual event has evolved from a conference to an "inspirational experience."
This comprehensive one-day extravaganza is designed for nursing leadership, registered professional nurses, surgical technologists and other health care providers. The focus of the program is to provide current clinical, technical and technological information to enhance the delivery of quality care.
Our featured speaker, Laurie Guest, C.S.P., will present "Managing the Red Carpet: A Show Business Guide to Customer Service in Health Care." The audience will view famous movie scenes and then relate a variety of messages to real life situations. With this Oscar theme, participants will learn award-winning ideas in a unique, entertaining and practical program. The Oscar theme will continue throughout the day. Be prepared to be educated and inspired.
Back by popular demand is "Perioperative (Family) Feud," the interactive game show hosted by co-chairs Jose Hernandez, R.N. and Paula Donaldson, R.N.
