RTR FINANCIAL SERVICES PRESENTS $15,000 DONATION TO LUTHERAN HEALTHCARE'S 128th ANNIVERSARY DINNER DANCE GALA
With nearly 1,000 attendees expected, event is set for Saturday, May 7
April 19, 2011, Brooklyn, New York
On April 14, Robert T. Reilly, president and CEO of RTR Financial Services, Inc., a health care industry-leading provider of accounts receivable management services, presented Wendy Z. Goldstein, president and CEO, with a check for $15,000. The sponsorship for the annual dinner dance, Lutheran's primary fundraiser each year, supports the upgrade of the medical center's Intensive Care Unit.
"Our family has been served on many occasions at Lutheran Medical Center so we couldn't be happier to help support health care in our community," said Robert T. Reilly. "Despite the increasingly difficult financial challenges medical center's face, Lutheran continues to flourish and bring better patient care every day to its Brooklyn neighborhood."
The Anniversary Dinner Dance, a "Casino Royale" themed black-tie affair, takes place at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square on Saturday, May 7. In addition to raising much-needed funds, the event celebrates Lutheran's 128-year legacy and honors individuals who have made tremendous contributions to the medical network. This year's Physician Honoree is Anthony L. DiMango, D.D.S., chief of Dentistry and director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Corporate Honoree is Frenkel and Company. Wendy Z. Goldstein will also be honored for ten years of leadership.
The event also features veteran television journalist and MSNBC anchor Contessa Brewer as emcee. Ms. Brewer is known for her marathon on-air coverage of breaking news and big political stories, as well as her work as a national correspondent and host of MSNBC's prime-time series "Caught on Camera."
The Staten Island based RTR Financial Services, Inc., is an industry-leading provider of accounts receivable management services to hospitals and health care providers throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. With more than 30 years of experience in health care management receivable services, RTR is constantly assessing new technologies to assist it in its every day efforts to maximize results for its clients, including the use of its own proprietary computer system designed specifically for handling health care receivables.
