CHINESE SURGEONS VISIT LUTHERAN MEDICAL CENTER
Cross-cultural exchange offers learning opportunities for all
September 19, 2011, Brooklyn, NY…As part of a cultural exchange, Shibing Cao, M.D., and Shengai Ye, M.D., from Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM in China, are spending three months at Lutheran watching and learning from our renowned surgeons.
The two have been observing George Ferzli, M.D., chair, Surgery Department, whom they have praised as "the best to learn from." Dr. Ye is a graduate of Southeast University Medical College in China and an open-heart surgeon. Dr. Cao graduated from Nanjiang Medical University and focuses on general surgery. The two will be at Lutheran until November.
