72ND PRECINCT HONORS LMC EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT AND SECURITY TEAMS
December 18, 2008, Brooklyn, New York
The 72nd Precinct Community Council recently honored Lutheran's Security and Emergency departments for going above and beyond the call of duty.
The Security Department, represented by Bob Casazza, director of security and Billy Pyles, LMC lieutenant, along with ED staffers, Mary Heaney, nurse manager; Helen Costello, nurse manager; and Shlomie Goldberg, P.A., were invited to accept their awards and receive personalized certificates of appreciation at the Community Council's monthly meeting in Sunset Park.
The 72nd Precinct's Commanding Officer, Raul Pintos, praised Lutheran's extensive work in the community and its ongoing cooperation with police during times of emergencies. He also noted that the recipients exceeded expectations in their duties to the citizens of Brooklyn and thanked all of Lutheran for its unwavering dedication and commitment to Sunset Park.
