U.S. ARMY CELEBRATES 237TH BIRTHDAY WITH LUTHERAN NEWBORNS
June 19, 2012, Brooklyn, NY
Local soldiers from the Fort Drum's 10th Mountain Division visited Lutheran Medical Center to celebrate the 237th birthday of the U.S. Army, alongside three newborns who share their special day.
The glowing mothers, who all gave birth on June 14, greeted soldiers from USAG Fort Hamilton as well as Lutheran executives. Each of the three newborns – all baby boys – received special gifts from the soldiers.
This year's birthday festivities and events are sponsored by Col. Michael Gould and the U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton. Lutheran HealthCare has a close relationship with Fort Hamilton and has partnered with them for numerous events over the years.
