Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc. presented award at annual fundraiser

December 6, 2012, Brooklyn, NY…Jeanne Lee, executive director, Lutheran Augustana Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation, was honored by the Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc., at the CPC Brooklyn Branch's Annual Fundraising Dinner with the 2012 Community Excellence Award. Ms. Lee was honored for her continued commitment and dedication to the Brooklyn community.

Ms. Lee joined the Lutheran Augustana Center in 2011. In addition to her role as executive director, Ms. Lee also serves as senior vice president of Senior Services for Lutheran HealthCare. Lutheran Augustana Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation recently opened a specially designed Chinese unit. This unit completes the continuum of culturally competent care offered to southwest Brooklyn's Chinese population, who can seek medical treatment at the Brooklyn-Chinese Family Health Center and Lutheran Medical Center's Chinese Unit.

Lutheran Augustana Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation began providing care in 1908 and today provides 24/7 skilled nursing, medical and support services for older community members or those with extended illnesses. Click here to learn about Augustana.
