February 8, 2013, Brooklyn, NY
A one-year-old girl is well today thanks to officers from the 62nd Precinct who quickly transported her to Lutheran's Emergency Department and Level 1 Trauma Center. Officers Pierce (kneeling, left), Pierre (standing, left), Cekani (standing, right), and Ashford (seated) responded quickly and safely transported Nataly to Lutheran Medical Center, performing CPR on the infant in the back seat of the patrol car. Nataly, along with her grateful mother, Noni, reunited with the officers in the Pediatrics Department where she is recovering. The team is seen here, along with Deputy Inspector Rooney, Commanding Chief of the 62nd Precinct, and Maureen Liberth, MSN RNC-OB-EFM, clinical nurse specialist, Women and Children's Services, LMC.
