• 9 a.m. Kick-off at Augustana (5434 2nd Avenue, corner of 55th Street and Lutheran Lane)
• Warm-up breakfast, exercises and t-shirts!
• 10 a.m. Start (from Augustana to Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, about 6 miles)

Lutheran Augustana Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation will host its 19th annual walk-a-thon in honor of Stuart Miller, a regular participant since a young age. Stuart, the son of Augustana Board Member Rev. Craig Miller and Nancy Morgan of Our Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bay Ridge, was an active teenager who participated in many Augustana walk-a-thons and volunteered his time to be with Augustana residents. He brought joy to those he met.
The walk-a-thon is Augustana's signature annual event that provides the funding for quality improvements to programs and much more. The money raised goes directly to enhance the quality of life of the residents entrusted to our care.

Stuart Miller was a beloved teen volunteer who made a difference in the lives of Lutheran Augustana Center residents. At the young age of 16, Stuart's commitment was evident in the strong connections he made with residents and the joy he brought to them during his visits.
