The Sunset Terrace Family Health Center (STFHC) offers evidence based individualized treatment services for individuals managing mental health disorders, struggling with chemical dependency problems and/or coping with health issues associated with HIV/AIDS. Services are provided by multidisciplinary, multilingual, culturally competent treatment teams composed of physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers and addiction counselors. STFHC houses the Outpatient Behavioral Health Services (OBHS) and Psychosocial Club, Outpatient Chemical Dependency Services (OCDS) and the Special Care Immunology Services (SCIS) programs. We are committed to restoring, maintaining and enhancing the health and well being of our community.

Outpatient Behavioral Health Services
Mental Health providers (psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists) offer treatment services for adults, children and families utilizing the following modalities: individual, group, family therapy, child & adolescent therapy, geriatric treatment, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychological testing and case management. The Sunset Terrace Psychosocial Club and School Mental Health Program are additional programs for individuals managing mental health disorders. For more information click here.

Outpatient Chemical Dependency Services
Evaluation and treatment services are provided for individuals experiencing the devastating effects of alcohol and drug abuse, either directly or as family members. Services include individual and group counseling, psychiatric evaluation and pharmacotherapy, health assessment and referral, and vocational counseling and referral. For more information click here.

Special Care Immunology Services
Comprehensive HIV-specialized primary care services are offered with experienced providers. Since 1988 this program has been a New York State Designated HIV/AIDS Center that provides for your total well-being. Our services include: HIV primary care, rapid testing, treatment adherence counseling, HIV prevention and education services. Case management, behavioral health treatment, and support groups are also available. For more information click here.
