Informational Sessions to be held on April 9 and April 11
WHO/WHAT: Lutheran Family Health Centers’ Services for Older Adults Program teams up with Safe Kids New York City and FDNY to host Grandparents’ Safety Awareness Day. Caregivers, grandparents and their grandchildren will learn great safety tips for the home and on the road like the importance of carrying emergency contacts, consulting with your doctor about any new medications and much more. There will be great prizes and a special safety tip quiz! Presentations will be provided by the FDNY and the N.Y.C. Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Blood pressure screenings will also be made available.
